I love to travel. Not just for business, but to exotic, oft unvisited places. I've been all over the world and  have hundreds of map tacks in my world map to remind me where I've been. I like photography, and in fact in addition to my math degrees I have a degree in photography. I'll share a few of my photos with you here.

• I have been to Thailand twice. These photos are of indigenous people in Chiang Mai and Chang Rai, the northern Hill Tribes.

I have been to Hong Kong several times. I can say that I did not enjoy the crowds, but I bought great camera equipment and had 2 pairs of shoes hand-made. Here's Hong Kong at dusk:

• I went to Russia (then the USSR) in 1986, while we were still in the midst of the Cold War. I was accompanied by a KGB agent and a CIA agent at all times.
